Poljska, deveta po redu najveća europska država, zemlja s više od 38,5 milijuna stanovnika, s dva planinska lanca (Sudeti i Karpati), s oko 9.300 jezera, domovina A. Mickiewicha, H. Sienkiewicza, F. Chopina, R. Polanskog, N. Kopernika, Ivana Pavla II i mnogih drugih poznatih imena, zemlja u kojoj je rođeno čak 17 dobitnika prestižne Nobelove nagrade, jedna od najobrazovanijih europskih nacija (90% stanovnika ima završenu najmanje srednju školu), s drugim po redu najstarijim sveučilištem u Europi - Jagielonskim sveučilištem u Krakowu… zemlja za koju kažu da je pradomovina Hrvata…. Poljsku - zemlju bogate povijesti i kulture - predstavljamo izložbom plakata pod nazivom „Republika Poljska“. Izložba je organizirana u suradnji s Veleposlanstvom Republike Poljske i može se posjetiti od 25. travnja do 27. svibnja 2022. godine u Knjižnično-dokumentacijskom centru / Europskom dokumentacijskom centru.

Suradnjom Knjižnično-dokumentacijskog centra / Europskog dokumentacijskog centra i Veleposlanstva Republike Poljske za ovu prigodu organizirano je 12. svibnja predavanje i razgovor sa studentima te informativna izložba o Poljskoj i o studiranju u Poljskoj. Nakon uvodnog obraćanja dekana prof. dr. sc. Jurice Pavičića predavanje o mogućnostima studiranja u Poljskoj i poljskom gospodarstvu održao je Bartosz Marcinkowski, načelnik Političko-ekonomskog odjela Veleposlanstva Republike Poljske u Hrvatskoj. Nakon predavanja održan je dijalog sa studentima, koji su postavljali pitanja o mogućnostima razmjene u okviru Erasmus programa, kupovnoj moći, inflaciji, prosječnoj plaći u Poljskoj itd.

We present Poland - a country rich in history and culture - with a poster exhibition entitled "Republic of Poland". The exhibition is organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and can be visited from 25 April to 27 May 2022 at the Library and Documentation Centre / European Documentation Centre.

The Library and Documentation Center / European Documentation Center and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland organized a lecture and interview with students on 12 May for this occasion, as well as an information exhibition on Poland and studying in Poland. After the introductory of the dean prof. dr. sc. Jurica Pavičić a lecture on study opportunities in Poland and the Polish economy was given by Bartosz Marcinkowski, Head of the Political and Economic Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Croatia. After the lecture, a dialogue was held with students, who asked questions about exchange opportunities within the Erasmus program, purchasing power, inflation, average salary in Poland, etc.
