U okviru projekta EU države u objektivu obrazovanja u listopadu je predstavljena Savezna Republika Njemačka.

Veleposlanstvo Savezne Republike Njemačke i Knjižnično-dokumentacijski centar/Europski dokumentacijski centar u suradnji sa Sveučilištem u Zagrebu (Centar za njemačke i europske studije) i Njemačko-hrvatskom industrijskom i trgovinskom komorom (AHK) organizirali su događanje na kojem je predstavljena Savezna Republika Njemačka.

Studente i goste pozdravio je prodekan Fakulteta izv. prof. dr. sc. Jakša Krišto te u ime Rektorata UNIZG dr. sc. Siegfried Gehrmann, voditelj Centra za njemačke i europske studije. U ime Europskog dokumentacijskog centra i Knjižnično-dokumentacijskog centra goste je pozdravila Zrinka Udiljak Bugarinovski, univ. spec. oec. koja je vodila program događanja.

Vrlo zanimljivo izlaganje održao je Harald Seibel, zamjenik veleposlanika i voditelj Odjela za gospodarstvo Veleposlanstva SR Njemačke koji je pričao o tradicionalno dobrim njemačko-hrvatskim odnosima, te se osvrnuo na izazove budućnosti u kojima vidi nastavak dobre suradnje. Na vrlo dinamičan način o mogućnostima ulaganja za njemačke tvrtke u Hrvatskoj izlaganje je održala Stefanie Ziska, direktorica AHK. 

Nakon izlaganja i dijaloga sa studentima prof. dr. Siegfried Gehrmann predstavio je novi Centar za njemačke i europske studije kojeg su osnovali Sveučilište u Zagrebu i Sveučilište u Regensburgu. Profesorica Drijenka Pandžić Kuliš predstavila je fakultetsku Katedru za poslovne strane jezike te u povijesnom pregledu istaknula da se strani jezici na Fakultetu uče od njegovog osnutka 1920. godine, te da je Njemački jezik u ponudi studentima od samih početaka.

The Federal Republic of Germany was presented in October as part of the project EU countries in the lens of education.

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Library and Documentation Center/European Documentation Center in cooperation with the University of Zagreb (Center for German and European Studies) and the German-Croatian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK) organized an event where the Federal Republic of Germany was presented.

Students and guests were greeted by the Vice Dean of the Faculty, Ph. D. Jakša Krišto and on behalf of the Rectorate of the University of Zagreb,  Ph.D. Siegfried Gehrmann, head of the Center for German and European Studies. On behalf of the European Documentation Center and the Library and Documentation Center, the guests were greeted by Zrinka Udiljak Bugarinovski, Univ. spec. oec. who conducted the program.

A very interesting presentation was given by Harald Seibel, Deputy Ambassador and head of the Department for the Economy of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, who talked about the traditionally good German-Croatian relations, and referred to the future challenges in which he sees the continuation of good cooperation. Stefanie Ziska, director of AHK, gave a very dynamic presentation on investment opportunities for German companies in Croatia.

After the presentation and a discussion with the students, Ph. D. Siegfried Gehrmann presented the new Center for German and European Studies founded by the University of Zagreb and the University of Regensburg. Professor Drijenka Pandžić Kuliš presented the Faculty's Department of Business Foreign Languages and, in a historical overview, pointed out that foreign languages have been taught at the Faculty since its establishment in 1920, and that the German language lectures have been offered to students since the very beginning.
